Review of: Divine Interventions and Kaya Kama Hammam Spa Review By:HP WORST salon experience is an understatement!!!!! The staff is completely uneducated and the so called Doctor was passing the blame on the so called esthetician/ laser technician for my severe burns from the laser hair removal! I bought a coupon from one of those daily coupon things and went because of the lack of knowledge on my part when it comes to laser hair removal. I opted to have the bikini area as my hair removal "area choice" BIG mistake!! I had the treatment done right before xmas holidays and felt the burn right away but did not realize the extent until two days later when the are started to blister. Unfortunately the salon was closed for holidays and I could not go in right away. I finally went in about 5 days later and saw the "Doctor" He was asking me questions like my nationality, if I had tanned recently, what I put on the burn ....etc etc etc... basically trying to make things my fault and not taking responsibility for the reaction/ 2nd degree burn. The offer from the company was a free pedicure..haha!! I explained I will NEVER be back and they offered me a salon credit. The doctor gave me a salve of some sort that seemed to heel the wound but I was left with a terrible scar. Not really the place on the body you can hide discoloration when wearing a bikini- unless I wear board shorts! A couple of months have passed with no change in the discoloration. I contact Divine Interventions and they mailed me a balm of some sort as I live out of the country now. I not only waited 4 weeks for the snail mail (thanks for couriering it out) , but the prescribed medicated balm was prescribed to some random person and was obviously used and crusted when I opened the container. Could this get any worse???? I will tell my story a million times over if I have to. DO NOT EVER EVER go to Divine Interventions or their counterparts!!!! They will continue to sell these coupon things to bring in the unsuspecting/ miss informed persons like myself.
Go to a dermatology clinic to have any laser hair removal done. Do your research. Stay informed. Any fly by night shop can buy a laser removal system and sell coupons.
Trust me, it's not worth the pain and agony I have gone through. You truly get what you pay for, especially when it comes to your body and your skin. You only get 1, remember that!
Sincerly,

I booked a massage with detox steam and exfoliation, the service was very profesionally and the staff were friendly and attentive. This is a beautiful facility and I have had many massages at different types of facilities and I have to say this is one of the best. I have absolutley no complaints only compliments for the staff and the service which I received. I would recomment this establishment to others for the same treatments which I received.

The customer service was horrible! I booked a spa session a week ahead of time. The day of the appointment, I drove a long distance across the city, looking forward to a relaxing experience. I arrived and was told that my appointment was not booked. The receptionist was able to rebook me. After filling out the usual spa questionnaire, I asked if I had to fill out a section that did not relate to my treatment. The girl thought I was there for an entirely different treatment. So, both the date of the appointment, and the type of treatment were both wrong. I explained how far I had driven to get there and there was no attempt made to correct the error. I left feeling very frustrated. I would not recommend visiting this spa.

Not happy with the Botox I received, I prefer nurses, they get more of a continued 'bottom specialty' education and find they know more recent techniques. I do however enjoy the eyebrow threading at this spa, always looks great :)

I have been to this spa a number of times to get waxing and threading services done. I have always been happy when I left. The spa is beautiful and very relaxing and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend this place!

I have been here for laser hair removal, microderm, photofacial, botox and filler (wow that sounds like a lot!). It is a beautiful spa and the staff are all very nice. Dr. Jay does the Botox and filler as opposed to a nurse and I was very happy with my results.
